As a Army veteran and an Army wife I really look forward to watching The Unit. This shows allows others to see what military life is really like. The sacafices we deal with on a daily basis. Not all people know what it is like to have a spouse gone for months at a time and sometimes not know where they are, or how to contact them. Watching The Unit and seeing other spouses go through the same things myself and others are dealing with in reassuring that we are not the only ones out there. My husband a 20 year Army solider looked forwarded to watchint The Unit every Saturday night (we are stationed in Japan and that is when AFN airs it) we would gather by the TV and watch faithfully. I was so upset when I heard The Unit had been cancelled. I remember when The Unit first aired we had just gotten home from our second deployment to Iraq and I was about to be discharged from the Army. I loved the show from the first episode. Please bring it back. At least give us a proper ending. You are leaving us out in the cold. Bring back The Unit.

“It may not be called a Unit movie, but I’ve partnered the author of Inside Delta Force and the series’ consultant, Command Sergeant Major retired Eric L. Haney. I just bought the rights to his books, and we’re going to make movies out of those,” Dennis reveals to the TV DivaGal exclusively.

Clearly Dennis is disappointed that CBS cancelled the show and The Unit obviously means more to him than just a job. Help get The Unit back, whether it be on TV or on the big screen!

Shawn Ryan shared the plan with ‘The Futon Critic’. Ryan says, “It was going to be a whole new show in the sense that we were going to be training some young people, Bob was going to be training some people for a whole new organization. Jonas was finally going to be seeing his run end. The final season was going to be, I figured the fifth season was going to be the last… It was going to be a long, sort of final mission for Jonas. He’s not medically cleared, Mac has to go in and sort of change the medical records so that Jonas can keep on going on missions. We had a whole thing planned, it was going to be good.”

Ryan finishes by saying that if ‘The Unit’ had been owned by Paramount instead of Paramount, they would be filming season 5.
